Wide-angle and smooth LED mini lights for wrapping trunks, branches and hedges, made in China to the colour, bulb count and spacing you set. A reorder is matched to the sample kept from your last one, and every order is quoted landed and planned back from your first install date.
5mm wide-angle mini lights for trees, hedges and shrubs
Mini light strands are what wraps a trunk, a branch or a hedge, where a C9 run follows a roofline. Installers, light attractions and distributors buy them by the case, and the hard part is making each season's strands match the last.

Stocking an installation business
The roofs take C9 runs and the trees take mini lights, and a client sees both at once. Order the two in the same white and approve them against one sample, so the garden and the roof look like one job.
A city that wraps the trees on its main street or in its park usually buys through a tender, with the lights written into the specification and the install dates into the contract.
These are the choices the quote is built on. Send them with the number and size of the trees, and the first quote comes back close to the real one.
The bulb: wide-angle or smooth
A wide-angle bulb throws its light sideways as well as forward, so a wrapped trunk reads evenly from across a square. Smooth mini bulbs give a softer sparkle.
The white, or the colour
Warm white, cool white, or a colour matched to your sample. Two whites side by side on one tree show at once, so pick one and keep it.
Bulb count and spacing
Closer spacing for trees people walk past, wider spacing for trunks seen from a road. Tell us how far away people will see the trees.
Wire colour
Green disappears into branches and brown into bark. The wire is what people see by day, when the lights are off.
How many, in which mix
How many strands of each white and length. That count becomes the case plan, and the container is planned around it.
Your own label
Inner packs, tags and cartons in your brand, if you resell. Where your name appears, the country of origin goes beside it in type of a similar size.
Price
What sets the price of LED mini lights
We do not publish a price for a strand. It turns on the bulbs, the white, the count and how you want them packed, so you get a landed cost, line by line.
More bulbs on a strand means more LEDs, more wire and more assembly in every strand you order.
2
The lens and the white
Wide-angle and smooth bulbs cost differently, and a white matched to your own sample adds a sample round before the run.
3
How many, and in how many whites
Each white or colour is a run of its own, so a season in one white prices better than the same count split three ways.
4
Packaging and your own label
Bulk cases add very little. Printed inner packs, tags and branded cartons add a cost to every strand.
5
Container fit
Coiled strands pack densely, so the ocean cost is set by the volume of the cartons more than by their weight.
6
The duty line and the rate on the entry date
Duty is charged at the rate in force when the goods land. The quote names the line we file under and says who carries a change between the quote and landing.
Itemised on the quote, hidden in a unit price
Duty at the rate in force on the day the goods are entered
The customs broker and the ISF filing fees
Drayage from the port or rail ramp to your yard
Unloading at delivery
Timing
Work back from your first install date
We do not publish a production window for mini lights. It depends on the bulbs, the whites and the quantity, so it comes with the first reply, and the date to order by is worked back from the day the first trees are wrapped.
How the date is set
A season's strands are worked back from your first install date.
1Tell us the bulbs, the whites, the counts and your first install date.
2We come back with the production window and the date to order by.
We do not name customers without written permission, and we do not ask them to be references. What we can show is the paperwork.

Questions
Asked before ordering LED mini lights
What are 5mm Christmas lights?
LED mini lights with a 5mm bulb. The wide-angle kind has a flat or dished tip that spreads the light sideways, and it is the one installers use to wrap trees and hedges. Smooth 5mm bulbs look closer to the old incandescent mini lights.
What is the difference between wide-angle and other mini lights?
The lens. A wide-angle bulb is cut flat or concave at the tip, so it lights to the side as well as straight out, and the strand looks bright from most angles. A smooth bulb sends more of its light forward and looks softer. For a trunk seen from across a square, most installers pick wide-angle.
Will next year's strands match this year's?
That is what the kept sample is for. We keep a lit sample set and the written specification from your order, and next season's strands are made and checked against them, not against a photo.
Can the strands come under our own label?
Yes. Inner packs, tags and cartons can carry your brand. Every strand, pack and carton is also marked with its country of origin, China, and where your name is printed, the origin goes next to it in type of a similar size.
How do we work out how many strands to order?
Measure the trees: the height of each trunk, how far the branches spread, and how many trees of each size you have. Then choose the spacing for how close people will stand. We turn that into a strand count for each tree and a case count, and the case count into the container plan.
Can we see the white before we order the season?
Yes. A sample set comes first, and you approve it lit, side by side with the strands you already own, under one light. The season is then ordered against the sample you approved.
When should next season's mini lights be ordered?
Work back from your first install date. The buying calendar shows the day the order has to be placed. If this season has already started, buy what you need now from US stock and plan next year's order from China in spring.
Tell us the quantity, the destination and when you need it on site. We return a landed cost that itemises the goods, ocean freight, the customs entry, duty at the line we file under, and delivery.
