Custom LED motif displays from China,

What we build

Display types, each built to your drawing

Every display is made to a drawing, so treat these as starting points. Send a finished drawing and we quote against it. Send a sketch or a photo of something close and we draw it up for your approval.

    Walk-through arches

Entrance and gateway arches, themed with stars, snowflakes or hearts, or cut to a shape of your own.

Display pieces for an installer's commercial jobs

An installer who takes on shopping-centre, hotel or city work orders these pieces before the bulbs, because each one is drawn and approved first.

Display pieces for a mall or shopping center

A mall's centre court, entrances and photo spot each take a piece drawn to the space, and the management approves the drawing before anything is built.

Price

What sets the price

We do not publish a unit price, because the honest number depends on your configuration, quantity, destination and the duty rate on the day the goods land. We do publish what moves it.

Request a quote

  1. Frame size and steel weight

Steel is the largest material line. It also sets the crate size, and the crate size sets the freight.

  2. LED density and type

Pixel-mapped animation costs several times what static string lighting does.

  3. Control and power

An animated structure needs its own controller, cabling and power supplies, specified per unit.

  4. Finish

Powder coat matched to a brand colour costs more than standard black or white.

  5. Crating and container fit

A knock-down design ships more structures in one container than a frame welded whole.

  6. Duty line and the rate on the entry date

A lit steel structure classifies under a different tariff line from a bulb. The quote names the line we file under and who carries a change.

Itemised on the quote, hidden in a unit price

  • Drawing and engineering time before the first quote
  • Duty at the rate in force on the entry date
  • Crate disposal or return handling
  • Site assembly labour, which we do not supply

106 days, plus 7 days of planning time for China's National Day holiday if every stage runs at its fastest. Do not plan on it.

  1. Drawing approval, deposit and factory booking

Planning allowance. Custom work needs an approved drawing before a slot is booked.

    7 to 14 daysMay 3, 2027 to May 17, 2027modelled
  2. Production

Planning allowance for custom steel and lighting work. The real window for your drawing is confirmed on the quote once the drawing is approved.

  3. Inland to port, export clearance, vessel cut-off

Planning allowance from the factory to the sailing port.

  5. Customs entry, drayage and delivery

Planning allowance. Our broker files the entry. A customs exam adds time that nobody controls.

  6. On-site buffer before opening

So a late container does not become a late opening.

Ocean transit from our own freight-rate pipeline (Freightos), snapshot 2026-09-03. Production window and allowances are planning estimates; the quote is the commitment. The stages in China leave room for Chinese New Year and China's National Day holiday in October, but each factory sets its own holiday dates. Municipal buyers: add your own procurement lead time in front of the order date.

What goes wrong

Failures we plan against

Common failures

  • A drawing approved without a power and control plan, with the gap found at install
  • Frames that do not knock down, so half the container ships as air
  • Colour that differs between structures made in different weeks

Buyer mistakes

  • Approving a rendering instead of a dimensioned drawing
  • Leaving the install crew out of the drawing review
  • Booking the container before the crate plan exists

Inspection checklist

  • Dimensioned drawing signed off by the crew who will install it
  • Every structure lit, tested and photographed before it is crated
  • Crate plan checked against the container booking
  • Assembly drawing packed inside each crate

Shipping and entry

How it gets to you, and our part in it

Request a quote

A container terminal at blue hour, with cranes over the stacked containers

How it gets to you

  • Full containers from South China, with the frames crated knock-down to fill the box
  • Delivered to a rail ramp, or to site with a liftgate where one is needed
  • We file the customs entry, and the quote itemises the duty line

Who carries duty, and what happens if the rate changes between quote and landing, is stated on every quote. How that works Add up a landed cost

What we do on an order like this

  • We turn a sketch into a dimensioned drawing your install crew can sign off.
  • We plan the container before the factory books, so the structure count fits the box.
  • We have delivered display orders of several containers a season to the same attraction, year after year, and we can describe how that went without naming anyone.

How we work and how we make money

The record

Work like this, described without names

We do not name customers without written permission, and we do not ask them to be references. What we can show is the paperwork.

Ticketed seasonal light attraction

A light-show attraction, six seasons, multiple containers a year

Custom display structures and lighting consumables over six seasons, several containers a year, with the customs entry filed by us each time.

Available redacted, on request

  • Redacted ISF filings and entry summaries
  • Container booking and routing records
  • Landed-cost price lists showing the duty column by year

Questions

Asked before ordering

Do you design the display, or do I?

Either. Send a sketch or a reference photo and we return a dimensioned drawing for approval. Send a finished drawing and we quote against it.

How long does a custom display take?

It depends on the structure and on the season. The calendar on this page works back from your opening night under the slowest durations we plan for, and the quote confirms the real window for your drawing.

Can you build a sponsor's logo or a licensed character?

We have built sponsor-branded and licensed structures on customers' own projects before, where the customer held the rights. We do not name those brands.

Can you name the attractions you have built for?

Not without their written permission, and we do not ask customers to act as references. We can describe the work and show redacted shipment and entry records.
