Before you ask
What to specify
The quote is built on the specification you send. These are the choices that decide what gets made and what it costs.
The space
The width and height you have, and how the wall will stand: on its own feet, fixed to a wall, or hung. The frame and shield add to the size of the fans themselves.
Number of fans
15, 20 or 28 in the framed sets. Or tell us the picture size you want and we answer whether a layout can be built for it.
Shield or open
A shielded wall can stand where people walk past. An open wall goes above head height or behind a barrier.
Fixed or touring
A wall that stays in one store, or one that goes out to events and comes back. Say which, because a touring wall is set up and taken down again and again.
Video
Who makes it, and for which layout. Video cut for one flat screen breaks up across a grid of round fans.
Destination and date
Where it ships, and the date it has to be running. The quote works back from that date.
Price
What sets the price
We do not publish a unit price, because the honest number depends on your configuration, quantity, destination and the duty rate on the day the goods land. We do publish what moves it.
Number of fans
The fans are most of the price, so a 28-fan wall sits well above a 15-fan one.
Shield or open
A shield adds a clear panel the size of the wall, and a frame strong enough to carry it.
Frame and mounting
A wall on its own feet, one fixed to a wall and one hung from above each need different framing and fixings.
Crating and freight
A framed wall travels crated by sea, and the size of the crate sets the freight.
Duty line and the rate on the entry date
The quote names the tariff line the wall is filed under, the rate used to price it, and who carries a change before it lands.
Itemised on the quote, hidden in a unit price
- Duty at the rate in force on the entry date
- Customs broker and filing fees
- Delivery to your venue, and unloading the crates
- Mounting and wiring on site, which we do not supply
- Video made for the wall's layout, unless you have your own
Timing
The date is set on your order
We do not publish a production window in this category. It depends on the configuration you ask for, so the date comes with the first reply, and the calendar for your order is built from that date and the ocean transit on your lane.
How the date is set
Every order is configured to your space, so the first reply confirms the configuration and the date.
- Tell us the specification, the quantity and the date you need them.
- We confirm the specification and the production date with the factory.
- The landed quote follows, itemised line by line.
What goes wrong
Failures we plan against
Common failures
- A wall ordered to a size that will not fit once the frame and shield are added
- Video made for a flat screen, which breaks up across a wall of round fans
- An open wall mounted where people can reach the spinning blades
Buyer mistakes
- Measuring the space for the fans but not for the frame, the feet or the shield
- Leaving the video until the wall arrives
- Not saying whether the wall stays in one place or travels to events
Inspection checklist
- The frame size and the layout of the fans confirmed on a drawing before the order is placed
- Every fan run together on the frame, playing one picture, before crating
- On a shielded set, the shield fitted across the whole front and checked
- Fans, frame parts and mounting hardware counted against the packing list

How it gets to you
- Shipped by sea from South China, the frame and the fans crated
- To the US or Canada, delivered to your venue or a warehouse
- Quoted as a landed cost: freight, the customs entry, duty and delivery each on their own line
Who carries duty, and what happens if the rate changes between quote and landing, is stated on every quote. How that works Add up a landed cost
What we do on an order like this
- We confirm the wall you describe, and the date, before you commit.
- The frame sizes on this page come from our own 2024 price list, so you can check the fit before you ask.
- We work out the landed cost to your door with the duty line named, so you can set it against a price from a US warehouse.
Questions
Asked before ordering
How much does a hologram fan wall cost?
It depends on the number of fans, whether the wall has a shield, how it is framed and mounted, and the freight and duty to your door. We do not publish a price, because our last list is from 2024. The quote prices your wall landed, with each of those on its own line.
Will a hologram fan wall fit my space?
Measure the space, then compare it with the frames on our 2024 price list: 9.74 × 6.7 ft for 15 fans, 9.74 × 8.2 ft for 20 and 12.79 × 8.2 ft for 28. Leave room for the feet or the mount, and clear space around the wall. If none of them fits, tell us the space and we answer whether another layout can be built.
Can people stand next to a hologram fan wall?
With a shield, yes: a clear panel across the front keeps hands away from the spinning blades. An open wall belongs above head height or behind a barrier. Each of our framed sets comes either way.
Is a 3D hologram fan a real hologram?
Not in the laboratory sense. Each fan spins a strip of LEDs fast enough that the eye sees a still picture, and against a dark background the picture seems to float in the air. A wall runs many fans as one picture.
Are hologram fans any good for business?
They are bought to stop people. In a store window, a lobby or a stand at a show, a picture that seems to hang in the air with no screen behind it makes people look twice. Most of the effect comes from the video, so have it made for the wall's layout before the wall ships.
